http://splparts.com/Under "Hardware", then "Fittings & plumbing".
I really like the part, my block plug is 5/8 NPT with a 1.25 threading (I believe) so their was no way to put my mechanical sensor thru that, question though...

Who is the SPL rep, Im interested in purchacing one of those Sensors for my pipeing, however... I realise that the 1/8 BSPT wont allow my Autometer mechanical temp sensor to go thru that hole, width problems with the sensor etc going thru the fitting. b/c I had the same trouble with the engine block location....

now would SPL be able to fabricate a custom fitting for this application? or would the fitting be able to be tapped to my specifications?

bacically the other question Im asking is what the depth of the tubing is, from the flat mounting surface, to the bottom of the fitting thru the hole...this way I can decide if my temp sensor will physically fit in the hardware.

I can post pics of the sensor, and identify the tread pattern of the fittiing attached to the sensor if neccisary. off the top of my head i believe its NPT... 1/4 or 3/4 not certain though

Thanks! :Jon
