Who here with a s14 has a working 300zx e-brake?

Did you re-rout the 300z cable and get it to work, or did you have to splice the 300z cable into your stock line to get the extra lenght? I tried all day to re-rout the 300z cable, and couldnt get it to work for the life of me. I'd rather not splice the cables, but if thats the only way...

The z32 ebrake is too short to reach the 240sx mounting plate.

Just chop and splice the cables.

Honestly, I haven't finished the e-brake on mine. I just have to adjust the drum though... just too lazy..

i did two splices. i did the outer cable about 1 foot from the dust shield. i spliced the inner cable about 10 inches from the t where it goes from two to one cables.i dropped the driveshaft to do the inner splice.
