Who here has had problems with the TCS on 91-94 Q45s in which the TCS and the SLIP lights would come on and what did you have to do to fix it.

Thanks, MattJacksonville, FL

Read the fault codes on the TCS computer per FS manual to define the fault.First thing to do is usually replace the relays under the battery.........corrode from not keeping batterry clean.

The fault code I am getting is code 18. According to the FSM it says that if after I perform the test accordingly for code 18 and it passes then go to procedure 19. I did procedure 19 which involves testing the TCS actuator in which it failed the test. So according to the FSM, the TCS actuator is bad. The previous owner had the relays replaced by Infiniti and still had the problem with the TCS/SLIP lights coming on.

I am mainly trying to find out if anybody else had the same problem as me and to see if replacing their TCS actuator solved the problem.

I guess I should post this in the Infiniti General section.
