I'll race you.... and get my a$$ handed to me! But I guess it's worth it to see your N/A KA in action.... I'll gladly get roasted! Mine's kinda fast.... but no where near the 13 second range... not even in the 14...... might be able to squeeze a low 15 out of it... or a high 14 on a REALLY good day!:D (NOT!)

My mods are listed in my sig..... not exactly all that extensive, but I'm planning Nismo cams, underdrive pullies, and lightened flywheel next... then high 14's won't be all that out of reach!

I feel warm and fuzzy inside. Just to let ya'll know. And the post? I'm thinking it you're running a 13.5 all motor, your motor probably won't last very long. As sturdy as teh KA is, its not unbreakable.

speaking of engine length, how long does your average sr20 turbo last?

I've got a 10.67 second car... 0-60 that is. Well, maybe not THAT slow... as far as you know.

I'd feel better about a WELL built engine putting down 13 sec 1/4 miles... than a stock boosted engine running 13's!

well, Since everyone wants to know what is in the car, I guess I can share :D

And the times were run on Yokohama 205/60/15 YK420 Road Race tires with my car lowered 3.25" in the front and 3.0" in the back by Sprint Agressor Lowering Springs.

And just so no one thinks it's faked...Here's the other time I ran that night before being kicked off the track for no helmet.

10/11/2002

2.180 60'8.909 1/881.51 mph13.699 1/4102.56 mphHopped a little on the launch, and then broke loose between each gear cuz my dumb *** wouldn't let off the button.

So, um...I'd love to pick a race with any 240 owner in the Houston area...I'll be at Houston Raceway Park this Sunday trying to beat those times, and on october 26 I will be competint in the 13.99 to 13.00 bracket of The Clash of the Titans held at HRP.

Ahh... I was impressed until I realized your actual engine mods were not THAT much really... and that you use N2O to get the good times! I know nitrous is still considered N/A, but it's not really enough to give you the "all motor" bragging rights. What do you run without spraying?

Please note* I'm not crapping on you for using N20... I think it's great, I was just psyched because I thought you had a well built KA. Not to take away from what you've done, becasue it sounds like you've put a lot into your car..... but I guess part of me was wishing it was all natural!

I would agree. Except I think Nitrous (please god make them stop saying NOS) is pretty lame. I'd also like to know what you run w/o the spray. I'd bet a mid-high 14.

My best off the bottle was a 14.6, but Friday night I was cutting 14.7 consistantly.

Hopefully with my new 550cc injectors on the way I'll be able to push down the motor times as well as the nitrous times.

Very true.Nitrous is a power adder, and therefore the motor is no longer NA.Instead it is Bottle Fed :)

And the 150 Wet Shot is a great way to go, but they could do seriously more to the car and go even faster.

I plan on breaking into the 12's this weekend with a little more nitrous and my slicks. FIrst we'll see how much 26x10.5x15 MT E/T Streets help, and then we'll up the shot if needed. My motor is strong enough that it has handled a 200 on the street, but I'm not sure how the rear end would like that at the track on slicks...

WE SHALL SEE... :ylsuper

Since I'm getting a lot of emails about the Import Car Club of Houston guys not believing my times, I'll scan the timeslips when I get to work in the morening.I don't have a scanner here.

Anyone that wants to take a look at my car is welcome to.I'm fairly easy to find in Houston. It's the only Mad Man and Co. Racing sponsored 95 240SX.

It hasn't given ME any problems... and it is no longer my problem even if it fails (removed and sold).

The rumor was that the welds are weak. Supposedly GReddy fixed the problem and the header I had must have been from the newer generation of corrected units.

On a side note.... the difference in performance with and without the header is quite noticable if you already have exhaust and intake done. I was quite impressed!!!

I hate to be so picky but this is just a pet peeve of mine. In our case its a HEADER not headers. If you have a v6 or v8 you will have headers, but on i4's and i6's you have only 1.

Sorry, I am just really sick today and I am freakin grumpy, lol.
