I think I scoured the entire site for every spark plug thread I could find. The NGK's are the plug I want for my 1993 Q-45. I found an old thread with Yoshi's e-mail and tried to contact him but the e-mail got returned. Make me an offer folks. Anybody have some? Thanks in advance.

I have some NGK BKR6EIX-11 Iridium plugs but haven't installed them yet. I bought them from sparkplugs.com and got a pretty good price. You can link to them from this site, might get a NICO discount but even if not I'm sure Greg gets some credit for sending business their way.

My plugs are 1 step cooler than stock because I'm running a turbo and trying to avoid detonation.

My man! Thanks for the info. And have you made any progress with that 5 pin DIN adapter we were talking about? I'll continue trolling around looking for these spark plugs here. Somebody's bound to have some. Talk to you soon.

I didn't you were the one that wanted the 5 pin adapter. I got the parts for it and I shipped out the last of the orders that were in before you so you're is next on the list. Should have it ready on Mon or Tues. I'll email you details.

Fantastic. And what about those Iridium spark plugs? Are the newer Iridium plugs OK for the 1993 Q-45? Specifically, the NGK FX45. Any ideas out there?

This is how I bought my plugs, they were about $5 cheaper per plug going this route IIRC! Use your connections and support NICO!

Not sure about those plugs and I haven't used my iridiums yet so I can say anything good or bad about them.

Turk, just for my own clarification...were the 4 sets of plugs you had to replace the proper NGK's? If they were then I'll save my cash, the Q isn't running all that badly and if they go bad that quickly I'll just put it off. But I really wanted to put some NGK's in there just to establish a baseline with my recently purchased Q45.

$12.99 or $30 a pop! I only paid about $6 ea for my NGK Iridiums at Sparkplugs.com. They aren't OEM direct replacements but I don't know why those would be that much more.

If you live in Florida, you can get them at Bennett Auto Supplies, which are all over the State. I just bought (8) NGK PFR5G-11's for $9.95 each.
