I've seen a lot worse S13 being sold for the same or more, so I don't think it's that bad at all, so the red trim is a little too too, bit otherwise this thing is ready to drift! One drawback is it's automatic, but you could convert it fairly easily. The engine bay is clean, not sure why it's white, but the interior seems to be in pretty good shape considering many of the S13s I've seen are beat. There does appear to be an adjustable front coilovers and there's descent strut tower bar. For a NA motor, it's probably fine, just lower it a little and yes, get rid of the funky canard/diffuser thing and drive away...

the reason i posted this is because of the fact the guy is trying to sell you a "Nissan Silvia" replica..it doesnt even have a SR in it or even a front end conversion on it. Yes that car is able to be saved no doubt about that and i hope it does get saved

for one, your a jack ***. 2 ive owned more 240s than you been laid. 3 im old enough to be your dad.

i didnt say anything about the pop ups on any other cars. i said this car has a 180sx front end on it. if, and i know thats a big IF, you know how to read, i was telling this kid it wasnt a replica cause of the front end. just stick to what you know, and keep your mouth shut.

and the number of verts left running and on the road make it rare. dont be jealous that you dont have one. and if i though it was a sacred object, i would have kept all mine. But as most people know they are a dime a dozen, the HB and the coupes are at least, hence why I have junked most of mine.

the pot calling the kettle black. it's the stock front end on that car, minus the bumper. that is a 240sx, so it is a 240sx front end, not a 180sx front end. get your monikers straight before you run your mouth.

wait, was i asleep when they revealed that the 180sx is older than the 240sx? it's just a 240sx vert with some mods. stop being a fanboy and accept it.

I think it depends on how you see the production number.

DeLorean's production number is about 9170(81-83). 240 vert's production number is about 7162(92-94). I'm sure more 240 verts went to junkyard than DeLorean, so you get the idea.

I like production number on 240 vert. If it's too many, it's going to be everywhere like Sebring, Mustang or Eclipse convertible. If it's too little, it's going to be even harder to maintain just like Elan M100 which was sold about 500 in the U.S.

And do they consider the DeLorean a collectors car? or rare car?

im just trying to point out, when i think of rare... i dont think of 240s

now if you find a completely stock one that is really rare

because no one buys them to have a stock car

think about in 30 years.... you wont find anything worth having thats not eith totally built up or trashed beyond repair.

ive realized that. i know my car is not going to appreciate in value like the classic cars have. its just a different generation of cars and enthusiasts i guess.

In time i think it will be worth more do to the coming transition between new fuel and the gas we have now. if these are kept around for awhile, and kept cleanish, they will be worth a few bucks.

All I see is a car that could use a manual transmission and some slight visual modifications. Other than that, its much cleaner and more well done than many of the 240's I see on this board. The seller is obviously completely clueless when it comes to modified cars, but the car itself looks pretty well put together.

If i were ever to sell one of my 240's on ebay (not happening any time soon), I'd play it up like the greatest thing since sliced bread. 200MPH DRYFT SILVIA!! 180SX!!!! TURBO! 4 WHEELS111 BIG BRAKES!!!!!!!1

To say that the 240 vert isn't rare is pretty stupid. 16 years ago I'd agree but nowadays a good working 240sx vert with a nice interior, top that is kept up, and no serious problems with owners selling... That's rare!

As for selling on ebay totally worth finding a screwing idiot who isn't a mechanic has no intention of being a mechanic and will throw money around like it's nothing. With this said, selling a car on ebay and making it look even more oop than it is is a great idea.

As for the car, it's clean, it looks nice and apparently that's all that matters on these forums. screw the idea of having mods done to your car to set it up for drifting, screw all the **** you've done underneath the car so you can guarentee it won't flip and kill your ***, screw the idea of having the best brakes on the market so that when you're out you won't die, and most importantly screw everything else you've done to your car as long as the top is good and the interior looks nice you will get from 3000-4,500 for the car. Then again that's why we have this forum .

I wouldn't be trash talking anyone on ebay that is for sure. Ebay is an easy way to make money back versus a forum filled with DIYers, mechanics, and know it alls.

God forbid the car isn't low enough because you know we all want the car as low to the ground as possible so we can screw it easier. We will pay out the *** for a car that is as far off the ground as a quarter on it's side but not for one that hasn't been lowered all that much.
