So this week I went down to Utah and bought MoD's 95 Q45. I know several members have owned it, I'm trying to trace it life on NICO.

I think it goes something like this RSIWICKI --> REX --> MoD --> Me

Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm getting the transmission fixed before I go pick it up in 2 weeks. It's been through so many hands I don't know that I'll ever find out all that's been done with it. I have a few different sets of wheels I'm going to test it out on too.

:woot:

I thought Wes once had it?

Maybe I'm getting the colors confused.

I don't think Wes ever owned the Beast.

Last I heard of my green 1992 Q45, after I sold it to a forum member, it was sold to another forum member who once posted in the Q45 forum noting its history -- that it once belonged to me. At some point it got an Impul(?) body kit and the AC (which wasn't working anyway) was removed.

I kind of want to track the car down and buy it.

This is why your Q is still on the road. It's had a long list of owners who took good care of it.

I sold a 90Q to a guy in Bakersfield a few years ago. He needed a bigger car for his wife and infant. Put in a new sound system right away (threw away all my Bose speakers and amps) and the car got stolen within a month. I'd like to know where it ended up so keep an eye open for a black Q with G35 wheels if you're traveling in Mexico.

If I had lived anywhere near MoD I would have bought that thing and swapped the trans myself.

But it's kind of hard to get a car with a bad trans 4000 miles away to your local friend's garage without dropping serious coin on delivery...
