Let's have those numbers boys (and girls).

My 2009 SL AWD has just over 8000 miles on it (bought in June).

Let's hear some high milage stories!

Purchased mine 11/17/2007 and I have 45,562 on mine, though I know other forum members have even more miles on their Rogues. Luckily, mine still drives like the day I bought it. I still have the original Dunlop tires installed with 7/32 tread left.

My Chevy Impala felt like a 5 year old car after a year due to so many issues with the steering and brakes/rotors wearing out and warping. I changed the brakes on the Impala at 21,000 miles. It was a joke!

About 50,077mi or 80,592km. Purchased new in Feb 2008. Yes, I drive a lot... I average 31,000mi (48,000km) a year.

My rogue which I bought in February 2008 just hit 43000 miles. I drove 1.5 years to high school leaving the rogue with 30000 by graduation and now commuting to college which is 60 miles one way the miles just keep increasing and after 2 brand new 4x4 continential contacts and oil changes every 2 months the rogue has proven to be very reliable even in the blizzard of 09.

I have a similar story of a 2005 Ford Explorer I traded for this Rogue. The Ford was a solid tank of a vehicle, but many mechanical issues.

I love the efficiency and clean design of the Rogue, but most of all I love the quality.

I purchased mine 08/25/09 and have 20,500 km (12,700mi) I average just about or a little more than 5000 km/month(3100 mi). Sometimes more depending on what I'm doing. With each car I've ever owned I average close to 300,000km(186,400mi) before I turn it in for a new one. Needless to say I generally blow through my warranties in the first year and a half

Yes, we have RogueMonster (clever choice of nickname )... and you have already beaten the competition on the last one... by a large margin.

And again this time ... once again by quite a large margin.

One question for you: Since you spend quite a lot of time in the Rogue, how do you like it? Compare to the previous cars you got? Will you buy it again if you would have too?

Always interesting to get the opinion of highmilers drivers on cars.

The more I drive it, the more I know it was the right choice for me. If something happened where I'd need to replace it, I'd probably end up with another one unless I decided to go larger. I can't think of another vehicle in the market that would better suit me. Maybe the revamped Mitsubishi Outlander. Maybe.

The only real complaint I have about it is the interior door handle, which interferes with my left knee/leg space. But I sat in the much larger GMC Acadia at an auto show last year, and it had the exact same design problem, so maybe it's just me.

My previous vehicle was a VW New Beetle GLX (my entire vehicle history prior to the Rogue was VW's), which I loved dearly and is to this day my favorite car ever. But I wanted a small SUV. In the end, it came down to the Rogue and VW's Tiguan. Price and feature-wise, there was no comparison. Plus, the Rogue has SO much easier access to filters and things in the engine compartment and, aside from the CVT, doesn't require a bunch of proprietary fluids. And the Rogue has done as well or better gas mileage-wise than my Beetle used to.

I can't believe I've been outdone again. I may have to quit my job and drive around north america full time to win the next contest. I'm very happy with the rogue. Much better in snow than my old CRV. Where I live in the foothills of denver an AWD is a necessity. very good mileage - I drive mostly highway and get about 28mpg. I wouldn't complain if it had a touch more room in the trunk.

I hear ya Roguemonster. I drove VW's for 15 years before I made the switch to Nissan (I owned 2 Jetta's and 2 Golfs) Absolutely LOVED em. Nothing drove and handled better than a VW. I truly do miss my VW But like you I needed bigger vehicle. (I'm 6'4) and it was just getting to hard for me to get in and out of the car, (bad back) and I have the same issue with the door handle getting in the way of my knee. Getting used to it though.

Overall I am very pleased with the Rogue. Very happy with my decision and if it'll last as long as my other cars did, I probably wouldn't hesitate getting another one.

For all of you guys with some good mileage under your belt; how has the Rogue aged? Has the interior developed rattles? Has their been anything in particular that has taken a beating?

I have rattles at just 3700 miles The dash speaker grills rattle from time to time. I have just been too lazy to fix it.

Really? Anything else rattling?

I would talk to my dealer about that, they should fix it under warranty.

That is sweeeeeet! You are the cruisin' king man!! And it's good to know the Rogue has held up so well over those miles (I'm surprised that you've never had any wind noise from your roof rails considering how much time you spend on the highway..) I doubt mine will be in such good shape after I hit 100,000 miles, I do a lot of stop and go driving and cold starts, and it'll be about 10 years old when it hits this mark!!

46,700 miles on my 2008 S model. I have one rattle, the back passenger seat rattles each time I hit a rough spot on the interstate. If you have the radio on it is not horrible, but you can definitely hear it.

Well done Roguemonster

Here's a good story in case you guys haven't seen it before.

Man with 2.6 million-mile Volvo P1800 aims for 3 million

by John Neff (RSS feed) on Oct 26th 2007 at 2:11PM

We've reported on high-mileage cars here before. There was the Jetta diesel that Volkswagen found in Ohio with 562,000 miles on its odometer. Then there was the Saab 900 that had traveled 1,001,385 miles in its lifetime. Finally, there was also a 1995 Dodge Ram that passed the million-mile mark. We know of these cars because Volkswagen, Saab and Dodge sought them out and have been using their mere existence as marketing tools. At least the driver of the Volkswagen was given a 1-year lease on a new Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI. The Dodge Ram owner got a call from Tom LaSorda and a book about DaimlerChrysler's history, while the Saab owner actually had to buy himself a new set of Swedish wheels.

All high-mileage vehicles still traveling our nation's roads, however, must tip their rusty hats to this one, Irv Gordon's 1966 Volvo P1800 with 2.6 million miles under its belt-line. Gordon has been the only owner of this P1800 since it was purchased new in 1966. A 125-mile round trip daily commute and a penchant for regular maintenance got the car this far, and in 1998 it made the Guinness Book of World Records at just 1.69 million miles.

Since retired from teaching science, Gordon now plans on hitting the 3 million-mile mark sometime in the next five years. Keep in mind, he's slowed down to 80,000 miles/year from his record pace of over 100,000 miles/year in 2002. While not promising to retire the car once it hits 3 million miles, Gordon says he might break down before the car does. We hope if that if he does reach that milestone, Volvo will pony up a free replacement for his Energizer Bunny-esqe P1800. How about a C30?

I don't know why he'd want to replace that Volvo under any circumstance. It's GORGEOUS.

I read the Volvo story a few years back. He really does baby his car and honestly, long distance driving is far easier on a car than city stop/go driving.

The latest entry is from Jul 09 at 2.7 million miles. See the Irv-o-meter on the Volvo Club of America website:
