I know i posted something about this a while back, and someone said they had it on their 240, but i forgot who. Anyhow, i am heavily considering purchasing this exhaust. It fits my budget and it's dual tip (which i like). I plan on getting it from enjukuracing.com, unless anyone knows where i can get it cheaper.

What are the characteristics? Is it mellow-sounding? Or is it rice-boy sounding? Craftmanship (i.e. is it rusting out over time)? How much better does it look installed than the stock exhaust? noticeable gains in power? (supposed to be designed for n/a )

thanx for any info

I was looking at this exaust ...mostly because it was a twin tip design that looks like stock. From what I could find it seems like a good part......and HKS makes pretty good stuff.....if you were going to stay with the KA and not swap in an SR it would prolly be a good choice....:sleep

I have it on my 90 Coupe. I think its really really cool. Mellow, deep sounding. NOT RICEY!! The dual tips are chrome and welded, easy to clean, the whole system is solid. If you want something near stock looking with a good sound, i definately suggest it. Its about 50% louder than stock, but not annoying at all. Highway speeds i cant even hear it. Way cool exhaust.

That's cool JNM240, notice any power gains tho? How long have you had it so far?

Sky,

I definately recommend HKS, I've got the Hyper Cat-back system. You can tell a difference, but I would make sure to have an intake of some kind to let the engine breath more.

When mine was first on with stock filter, I could tell it needed more air.

But HKS, is very good with me.

I'm thinking about the Dual N1 (apex), but i'm not sure.. I don't want to lose low end at all. The stock exhaust is SOOOOO quiet. So anything is loud in comparison. Plus, it's rather hard to get a big 2.4 liter to sound ricey ;)

Anyone have the N1?

David.

Well, Sky, i went from a custom made 2.25" crimp tubing with a stock muffler, no pre silencer, to my HKS and noticed a big difference in how quick it revved up. Im sorry, i dont have HP or dyno numbers to back anything up, but the quality of the HKS is beyond compare. It absolutely rules. I got it in July, btw.
