true....unless your exhaust shop is good at cutting the bumper to make room for 4". The guys down here in LA (AAA exhaust) do really good work on high end cars....when I installed an E55 exhaust on my 07 E350, they made room for the large oval quad tips.... came out great!

here's the link for burnt muffler tips if you want to upgrade....you will find different sizes...

I have dual 3.5" tips on my Tanabe Medallions. I got them off of amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009R6 ... UTF8&psc=1. I'm assuming from your name you're from the south bay. Theres a muffler shop off of Blossom Hill that does good work.

So you're from San Jose? I'm curious to see how your exhaust sounds like, he supposed to built mine as well.

No, i'm in South San Francisco, but i'm out that way pretty often. I think it sounds pretty good. I have a resonated XYZ pipe to 2.5" midpipe to Tanabe Medallions. You can listen to my setup if you want.

That'd be awesome! I'd like to do x pipe to 2.5 piping with resonator with 3.5 tips.
