I'd say go with the SR.....it'll be less hassle......its made from the factory to take boost unlike the KA motor......

Hassle from what angle? Completely swapping a motor, transmission, ecu, and harness isn't exactly the simplest thing. And put some forged pistons and better cams in a KA and it'll wipe the floor with an SR.

That's what is steering me away from an SR. Pulling the whole motor, transmission, ecu, wiring everything up, fixing/repairing anything that is wrong with the motor. Also, finding little parts such as gaskets, water pumps etc. would be a pain in the a$$.

another kid who doesn't know what he's talking about...talking. wow. never seen this before...

KA will handle boost just fine unless you're a moron. I mean that in the nicest way. The whole "factory boosted engines blah blah" comes mainly from honda guys who make the transition over to FI, only because people blow up thier honda engines so much with FI, only because they are well...idiots. any engine can take boost properly tuned. the fact of the matter is, the KA has more displacement, better low end torque, enough of an aftermarket backing, if you blow the motor a new one is less expensive etc etc. there are tons of pro's to KAT over the SR. People who preach KA being unstable and harder than the SR etc etc are just ignorant. SR is a good turbo motor, so is the KA. It's more of a personal preference over when you want your boost, where you want your torque, and where you want your redline.

KA vs. SR argument has been covered a billion times. If you aren't one of the veterans who knows exactly what they're talking about and has experienced it firsthand, shut the heck up. "Go with the SR it'll be less hassle" is ABSOLUTE LUNACY. Please spend about an hour thinking about that statement, another three months searching and reading, another six months of actual experience with forced injection on an engine that came that way from the factory and an engine that didn't. Then come back and give a good, concise, clear opinion. To whoever asked in the first place, SEARCH, it's a subjective matter.

sometimes the hardest thing when going SR is trying not to get ripped off.

sr has a great high reving power band, ka has a shorter power band but alot of power within that band, also a little lower rev limit.

each have their strengths, get what you want, do some research, dont become another trendy *******.
