I just installed mine yesterday and here is how I lowered it...I spun the rear shock body to make the car as low as possible without reducing strut movement. I then spun the keeper all the way to the bottom and tightened it down. I then took the next keeper and spun it all the way to the bottom, and then spun it 20 full turns upward. I then lowered top keeper that makes contact with the spring all the way down to the keeper I spun up 20 turns, and tightened them up.
For the front I took the bottom Black keeper all the way off and lowered the shock body that connects to the knuckle all the way down until it was perfectly even with the actual strut. I then put the black keeper back on and tightened it up. I then did the same thing with middle two keepers...bottom one all the way down and tightened, and second one all the way down then 20 full turns up, and lowered the spring perch down to the keeper amd tightened.
Doing all of that I lowered the car about 2 1/2" - 3" and damn it looks good! I was scrapping pretty bad when I put it on the alignment rack. This was my first real alignment attempt and I think I messed it up, because it doesn't track straight. I will have to have another tech walk through it with me next time!
How did everyone else set theirs up?DbD
