Anyone here have the CAI kit from HPS?
Any issues?

From the moment I installed them, I noticed that if I go into neutral the revs drop and the engine dies.
I assumed this is from the larger diameter in piping and the MAF can't meter correctly.

From time to time recently it will die when I come to a stop. Happens more when its hot outside.
It happens when the transmission downshifts softly and the RPMs have a chance to drop. If there is a firm downshift, no problems

It is annoying, but now its a safety issue. I was coming down a canyon with sharp turns. As I slowed down the engine died.
You really don't see it coming nor do you have time to look down at your cluster.
Well, I lost power steering and nearly missed the turn.

I am going to contact HPS, but I am curious if anyone else has issues.

Also, this is typical of a vacuum leak. I checked all my hoses and cleaned my throttle bodies and cleaned my MAF sensors.

I have their tubes not their intakes. Frankly, I don't believe in "CAI"...more like "HAI". Hope you figure it out because that situation sounds scary.

While I will agree you that most are not CAI. These are almost there. I had a home brew tubes, but i ended up with damaged air boxes due to AEM filter.
CAI kit was cheaper than buying new plastics.
