Hi guys... I just ordered my R33 RB25 clip last night from Night. I'm wondering who else so far has actually gotten an RB engine and plan to/have installed it. Anone out there besides Night, Unstable, McKinney, and Daunttless?

I'm in the next shippment of clips. Haven't gotten it yet, but shipping from japan isn't quick. It sounds like at this point it will be about 8 weeks from the time I ordered till when I'm going to be getting my clip. But I'm not in a rush so it's ok, gives me more time to save money.

cool, cool. Ya I am still trying to figure which goodies I can fit into my budget...off the bad I am gettingR33 clip from nightdownpipe from nightfuel pump from nightLSD from nightrev/speed meter from night

I think I want to get a front mounter intercooler.. but if I'm going to do that I think I may as well get a new intake manifold that is more front mount friendly.. I am currently looking for a place that sells them custom.. GREDDY is nuts expecting 1,500 for a piece of shaped metal... it doesn't even have the duties of a hard working turbo... geezz...

BTW.. I just bought a cat-back 3" exhaust from a company called Megan Racing. It is stainless steel, and looks very nice. only cost 299.00 plus shipping.. I'll let oyu guys know how it goes.

IF YOU HAVE ANY PLACES THAT SELL A BETTER INTAKE MANIFOLD LET ME KNOW

Yeah, I want to go with a more front mount friendly intake manifold also. I was hoping HKS made one, but I haven't seen anything and the japanese site is hard to navigate when you don't know japanese. If I find anything I'll make sure to tell you.

Are you driving it with stock tires/rims? How does it handle during hard acceleration? Do you have lsd?

I'm picking my rb25 240 from unstable in exactly 2 weeks, I'd like to know what to expext as I'm driving it back home. Home will be 900 miles away

I just wanted to tell you all I started my RB. If you ever want to hear a great engine start an RB. I wish I could get a sound clip for you all, but don't got anything to record it.

Hey Bryson your question about the Greddy intake manifold, I know a site that sells it for much less. It’s http://www.takakaira.com/. It’s a great site for RB25DET parts. On the site it costs $726 without shipping. I don’t know how much shipping for that would be but I’ll tell you that I ordered three magazines, and shipping was $60. It’s a lot but it’s coming all the way from Japan.

Good luck with your engine

Wail

Why don't you just get a front mount w/ both end tank outlets on the left side? Works great for me.

I don't really like how the intake piping goes over the engine. So i'm going to get a intake manifold that faces forward, just personal preference.

I have to agree the greddy intake manifold looks much better, but I guess it is just personal preference. apex_7 can now spend the 750 to 900 dollars on something else.......

Oh I do love it. It's fun as hell to drive, but I need money for school next term and selling the car is the smartest way to get it aside from a job. To me it's only a car. So why not make the sacrifice, I'll do the swap again when I'm done with school.
