who has ever owned an 84 Sentra?

I was looking at some pics and saw the 84 sentra my dad had in 87, talk about identity problems with the dtsun and nissan badges on the car.

I saw a pickup truck yesterday that had Nissan and Datsun badges.

I guess that was during their changing period

I believe back in the day it was commonly referred to as Nissan/Datsun.

My uncle had a 720 4x4 pickup that had both badges as well.

My ex-girlfriend had one. I hated it. Although it had a bigger back seat than the 240.

1984 was when Datsun officially changed names to Nissan here in North America.It was also when they made the anniversary edition Z31

In the really early days used to be "Datson" instead of "Datsun", they change it after a while. At the end they end up using "Nissan". Although they used the name "Datsun" during the late 90's for some models in Europe......
