Hi, Silvia Girl is back..unfortunetly my 95 240 got wrecked and I am fixing the front end..I got a really good deal to where I only have to buy the frame, and all the other front end parts. And I was thinking instead of buying a 95 front bumper/hood/headlight etc...I shuld just convert the car to a 97-98 front end (which I love). What all is involved in this? Who has gotten it done and how much was it (especially as far as labor goes)? How difficult is it to do?

The shop is replacing the right front fender, right headlight assembly, front bumper and hood.

If anyone also knows of any good deals where I can get the front end parts for a 95-96 OR 97-98 let me know.

I was just wondering much much $$ it would cost for me to just get a 97-98 seeing how my front end is already shot and I gotta buy parts anywayz.

Thanks guys

Parts aren't very expensive. I think I priced the whole conversion (not counting the lower spoiler) for around 1500 from http://www.oem-car-parts.com (little cheaper than directly from Nissan). As far as labor goes it's not gonna anymore than the 95-96 front end. You would need the bumper cover assembly, grille, headlight assemblies (comes with wiring), corner lights, fenders, and hood. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Ok cool, the drivers side of my 95 240 is pretty intact, so they would have to fit those 97-98 headlights on the left side and do some xtra work right??

But Im real excited and can't wait to get my 97-98 conversion.I can get parts for a lot cheaper than 1500.00.I can get a hood for 200.00, right fender for 125.00, grill, 100.00, front bumper 200.00, and headlights about 100.00 each. Also will I need to get a right and a left fender? Or are the fenders from the 95-96 240sx the same as the 97-98 body styles?

Thank you so much...

The fenders are different, so are the corner lights.

If you are talking about a 95-96 hood, grille, bumper, fenders, the 97-98 parts different and they aren't interchangeable. I'd guess that you're talking about a 97-98 for all the parts you've listed...

OK, so then I would need, 97-98 new fenders , 2 headlight assemblies (they dont come with corner lights?), a 97-98 hood, grille, and a 97-98 front bumper? Is that all?

You might need bumper supports as well, I'm not sure if they transfer or not, but don't mark my words on that one.
