Who has added HID kits to the EX?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I bought a relay harness that plugs directly to the battery.

Make sure you buy a nice relay harness with Tyco relay switch.

After 3 months of driving with aftermarket HID during winter time, I had a

terrible no light or one side light only isssue. The first thing I checked was

the relay switch and that was the culprit. During winter time, these

terminal on the relay switch got corroded (green stuff) and this causes the

hid not to fire. I replaced it with the new BOSCH (now Tyco) relay switch

and the hid fires consistently. I also wrapped the relay switch with

electrical tape to prevent moisture seeping in to cause corrosion.
