Hi Guys,Think I've got the DW used to the idea that I'm going to dump big bucks into one of my cars again. I drive my G a lot more than my STS. I love the idea of Supercharging my G. But I want some assurance that it will be as fast as I'm hoping it will be. Its a lot of money and I want to make sure its worth it. So anyone out there done this mod and how did it work out.I have an 05 sedan... minor mods with aero kit and zero lift difussers. Thanks, Jim

Care to elaborate on that? How fast DO you want it to be?

Superchargers will make it faster, but twins will push you back in your seat with the extra torque. Do some research...there is a lot of info out there on FI for the 350Z/G35.

Vorteck SC, - Dont need a new hood lol .

Stillen , -- Maybe.

SuperChargers have one key thing over a Turbo ... NO LAG! .. but it runs off the power of the engine ... think about losing 20-30 HP to gain it back ...

While with TT kits . some have no lag.. some spool up at 2600 RPM .. but it runs of the byproducts of your engine .. NO LOSING HP , but gaining tons more and with some turbos .. once it spools ...

That's the only reason I wouldn't buy a stillen, because that Fugly bulge. Do you hear that stillen? Fix ur supercharger or at the very least throw in a free hood. The superchager costs enough as is, then you have to buy an ugly $600. hood on top of everything for it to fit. Let's not forget painting the hood.

Ok, i'll stop bitching.

I would love to get TT's for mine, but CA doesn't allow people to have fun with their cars

First i want to be as fast as anything japan puts out and take on the Germans also... at least stay near an m3. I thought the superchangers and turbo's were smog legal. Thats the only way I would do it. I too aren't looking to lump up my hood. Where do you put intercooler on a sedan?

I believe that if you want to put an intercooler into a sedan, you have to change the front facia -- something about inadequate air flow through the intercooler.

FYI

The Stillen and Vortech SC are smog legal. Currently, there isn't a turbo setup that can say that...

Also i just saw the bumper for the SEDAN , i believe the stock bumper would provide very good flow for the JWT due to they have DUAL INTERCOOLERS.

Also just stop by my TurboCharger guide anytime if you want to choose a TT kit (got Dynos )
