Hi folks,

My host has gone down and I've decided to completely abandon having a webhost as I don't do any web development work anymore.

That being said, does anyone have a reliable web host that that wouldn't mind hosting 55MB worth of images on?

Once they are uploaded and view access given to the directory (so the directory tree is viewable), I would then edit all of the HowTo's I wrote with the new links and that'll get the images back online for the forum to view once again.

Currently, as far as my HowTo's are concerned, the following HowTo's do not have any images:
  • Brakes
  • Oil
  • PCV Valve
  • Spark Plugs - V6
  • Oxygen Sensors
  • Posting Pictures
  • Radio Removal and GROM installation
  • Engine Belts - V6
  • Stabilizer Links
  • BC Coilover Installation

I currently have an OpenVZ server from buyvm.net that I use as remote file storage and to try to keep my unix skills from atrophying. It has 2000GB of included bandwidth. It's been relatively reliable, only down for maintenance and no unplanned outages as far as I'm aware of. I do plan on keeping it around, especially since it's cheap at $60/yr. If you're interested I'll throw apache on there and we can give it a try.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks for coming through.

Get it loaded up and send me a PM with your email and I'll send you the file (do you prefer zip, 7zip, or rar?).

Everyone, please give a round of applause to Agee for setting this up. All of my HowTo's that I wrote (except for the Seafoam one - didn't have those images backed up for some reason) are now back to how they were before my host expired.

I don't like to brag, but I am glad that the FAQ thread and the associated HowTo's have gotten so many views and have offered the people of the internet (members and non-members who find the site using Google) so much. It's a great feeling, and without Agee, it would have required more work to get back.

So, again, thank you Agee.
