Who has a boosted SE-R Spec V on here?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

My friend has an 08 SE-R Spec V. I'm telling him to boost it, but he's worried about the stock transmission and internals. Can you guys please tell me what HP and TRQ you're running on your boosted Spec V's with stock transmission and internals. If you have after market transmission or motor internal parts please list them as well as your HP and TRQ. This way I can show him that there are actually guys out there that are boosted with a stock transmission, motor internals and not having problems. If you could also please tell me your PSI. What's a great HP and TRQ that the stock transmission and motor internals hold up to without blowing and transmission messing up? He's more worried about his HLSD which he replaced about 3 weeks ago. He had to buy a whole new transmission because the HLSD themselfs are on backorder in the US and Canada. Thank you guys in advanced for any info.

There are no manufacturers of turbo's and superchargers for the new B16 Sentra's. There have been a few pioners though. There are a few Turbo'd 2.0L's from long island, ny. There was one Turbo'd Spec V which has blown up, due to owner stupidity. He usually goes my the screen name Major Mods. And ive modified a 2.2L ecotec Supercharger on the back of my SE-R motor. Down side, i dont as of yet have a wide band to monitor my A/F, and i have upgraded internals. Scat racing crank, eagle rods, Aries pistons, etc.... So when my wideband finally comes in there mail, and i get a new belt, i will get you new dyno numbers as soon as i can.

BTW, almost forgot..... in N/A all motor trim, ive gotten as high as 225hp and 521tq with a nearly stock CVT transmission. Now when i say nearly stock, the only modifications are a better transmission cooler, and Eneos CVT fluid.

Well it can be a SE-R Spec V from 02-10. Since they all have the same transmission. Motor wise I'm not sure if it's the same, but guys can give me the input on the engine area so I can have this dork boost his car soon with no excuses like "my HLSD/transmission is going to mess up." or " my engine is going to blow." Thanks for the reply.

I think I've seen 2. I know I saw one for sure and maybe another. I know the had put in headers, I'm not sure what else if anything was required. Sorry I can't be much help, but I have seen it and I know they didn't change the transmission.

Thanks for the info. If I can show him the proof that he'll be fine running boost on his car without having problems to a stock transmission (HLSD is his main concern) and engine internals Tim from Speed Force Racing would be building the turbo for him. I just want to know what boost, how much HP and TRQ are boosted Spec V's running with stock trannies and engine internals. Thanks for the replies guys.

Plenty of turbo'd B15 Specs. Not to many on this forum, but there's definitely quite a few out there. No additional trans issues as a result. The engine internals are a big fragile, but a quality turbo setup and proper tuning avoids any engine issues.
