Here's the back yard... This was taken a while back... I didn't get time last night to take pics before the sun went down, but you get the picture...SVTCOBRA wrote:Dave, your yard sounds pretty interesting looking compared to mine.post up a pic when you get at moment.

Lots of cactus and Ivy along the perimeter walls.
View from the back of the yard... Yes we have those cheap plastic green chairs around the firepit... We just don't want to spend a bunch of money on nice lawn furniture only to be cooked in the sun and ruined in one summer.
The outdoor dining room...
The sahuaro cactus outside our bedroom window...
The CRAZY snow storm we got this past winter... It snowed like that for a good 15 minutes! Brrrrr... SNOW DAY!

Send her my way (email,IM...not in person lol). I'll give her plenty of ways to Sportz up her Max and (spend your money doing so).SVTCOBRA wrote:Still have it. I uncovered it, dusted it off with my californa duster, and hit it with some Zaino detail spray. It didn't need anything other than that.
Daughter is still wanting to trade her Max in on a Mustang too.. Found a 98 GT with 44K miles that we looked at and took for a test drive.About the same HP as the Max, but the Max is SO much a better car!!!Better MPG, better reliability, better quality....10 times better car!!!She thinks the Max isn't a 'sporty' car!!!! I've got to show her what the guys/gals in the Max forum do with theirs. Also, the GT is cloth with no sunroof!! Her Max is leather with sunroof and did I mention TEN TIMES BETTER than a MUSTANG!!!!!! Sorry for the rant....sorry for mentioning mustang.....time to take blood pressure again...must focus on something else. Where does she get these foolish ideas??? Sorry, done...
That's my favorite hobby! That's the Tonto National Forrest in my backyard (2.9 million acres of desert) Each night I sit and watch the sun set over the mountains... the sunsets here are straight out of a Bob Ross painting... breathtaking!Happy clouds!SVTCOBRA wrote:Dave, Thanks for sharing!! Very different from my grass & trees!!!Could definitely see hanging out there and tossing back a few cold ones in the evening!!

If you're ever in the valley of the sun, look me up and we'll have that beer you were talking about! Good times!Dave
Thanks Nate.I really didn't want to molest her stock Max, but if it keeps her from wanting a Mustang I will. (Not bashing Mustangs here BOB, I just know the difference in a Mustang and a Maxima....I've owned/worked on both... Mustang would be a good SECOND car for her after college)Sentientbydesign wrote:Richard,
I'm not a huge fan of the ghetto airbox, but it will make the car louder.
I'd check ebay for the strut tower brace. Will probably set you back all of $30 shipped. You can get the rear too if you want, but I think that's a waste.
Check with your local exhaust shop. I had a nice free-flowing muffler put on with a stainless steal K&N tip for $150 ($65 was the SS tip). Had a nice deep bass note.
Then I'd look at some suspension mods. Eibachs with some Tokicos and a camber kit and she'll love that car.
