i didn't take any pictures, as i saw it only a couple times during the entire event (i wasn't feeling so hot). but from what i did see, it was pretty awesome. we had clear skies, despite the forecast originally calling for cloudy skies. i caught the wicked bright full moon, the very beginning of the eclipse, the halfway point of the wane, and full eclipse when the moon started to show an eerie blood red color. it was awesome. not necessarily a once-in-a-lifetime thing, but still a spectacular event that i feel lucky to have witnessed under perfect conditions.

who else watched? anyone take any good pictures?

Watched, but didn't bother trying to get pictures due to clouds. By the time it was fully eclipsed, the mood was behind the clouds.

I'm in a valley and the eclipse was low. I didn't see the eclipse, but I saw the blood moon. :/

We were too cloud covered here in Appalachia to see anything.

To make matters worse we just cancelled a trip to Florida's Space Coast next week...we were going to be there for the food & wine expo at Epcot but the real highlight for both of us was going go to be watching an Atlas rocket launch (GPS satellite payload). Don't know when I'll get another chance at seeing one of those monsters launched.

I watched the whole thing. Had a fire, a little party, some pizza, s'mores, the whole 9. It was an awesome night.
I tried to take some pics, but without a tripod and/or telescope, I feel like my shots probably sucked. I won't be able to see them until next weekend either. I left the camera at my parents' house. NASA was posting some amazing pictures though.

We got all the clouds. It sucks, every time there is a cool astronomical event, it gets too cloudy here to see anything.

The last time there was a partial solar eclipse, it was the same as well. f***.
