Who else does gauge clusters and harnesses other than mckinney?

From what I have heard mckinney isnt the best on getting **** out on time. I was wondering if anyone else converts gauge clusters and wiring harnesses to work with the rb. What do they charge. i know motorex does the harnesses but I'd like to check as many sources as possible to eliminate down time.

First let me say that I went with Mckinney and highly recommend them. I did a lot of shopping around when I did my swap, and am very glad I went with them for wiring and mounts.

With that said, let me give you some options:1. You might give XAT Racing a call. I don't know if they do RB wiring, but they do SR wiring, and they happen to be a sponsor of this forum. They perform RB swaps, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do RB wiring.

2. JonPowell- helped a lot of people on this forum, so he may be able to help you.

3. Sadly when I got to this number. I realized that all the other places I had looked at before going with Mckinney are now out of buisness.Examples: Unstable-Hybrids, supertunermotorsports, night7racing

Good luck with whatever route you go.

If you dont go w/ Mckinney, do it yourself. Its really easy. I've collected a list of threads that cover every aspect and question you could have about the wiring.

so does mckinneys service make the guages all work as if they were made for the car or do you just guess what rpm your at and speed? How do they do it, do they just replace it or actually make it like stock? Do you have any issues what so ever???

Your Speedo and Tach will have to be recalibrated to work correctly, which is something mckinney can do also.

You guys are right, I left out the all important DIY.

http://www.lsauto.com does clusters.

For $200 they'll put in an sr tach (if you have sohc cluster) and a 180mph lsauto speedo and calibrate both.

Can't vouch for quality because my motor doesn't run yet (maybe this weekend) but looks great.
