Ok, well I'll have to start over...let's see...trying to think...

Photopost links, both to upload and to view

What moderators and admins are, and they differences

How your "title" changes with the number of posts you make

The SEARCH button

The different skins...(user CP, user options, themes)

Proper netiquitte maybe?

Articles (what they are compared to posts), and how you can submit an article to us if you feel so inclined

Who the admins are (me, greg, and fred)

Reasons to notify an admin (when moderators don't have enough power, complaints against moderators, etc)

The "report post" feature

I'll think of more and add them. Thanks for doing this btw!

WHen someone clicks on the report post, and types in a 'report' who gets the email? all the mods in the forum?

EZ and LTJJ - Please send me a copy prior to posting it - I'd like a crack at editing, if you guys don't mind.

p.s. John, thanks MUCH for your help with this stuff!

All listed moderators (in the specified forum) get it, as well as all the admin's. Admin's get the email for a reported post *anywhere* on the site.

In that case, LTJJ, shoot me a copy first...I'll proof it, then send it to Greg to get double-proofed :)

Oh, and I got an idea to add....

I get this question all the time:"How do I become a moderator?"

The simple answer is, a moderator nominates someone based on knowledge, but more importantly attitude. If you are always a friendly person, and always trying to help out, that looks good to us. And if you are extremely knowledgeable in a certain area, that's extra points. A majority vote from all the moderators will get you in. Also, any site changes made requires a majority vote from administrators. Also, just because you are nice and smart, etc, etc, and still aren't a moderator....it doesn't mean we don't like you enough. It cold be that we simply don't need any more moderators at that time.

Anyway, if you send me a copy, I can add that stuff in there (as I know more about it than you). I can make it all nice and perty and stuff, as oppose to my bad grammar that I just displayed.

Ok well, I decided that I would not work on this until the site was redesigned as some of my work would become worthless :)

And if any of the admins want my suggestions on a new site (i have plenty, just ask jspec ;)) then i have an AIM sn of lessthanjakejohn and an email

:)
