I was just wondering if there were any businesses who have sr20det's for sale currently? I would like to buy from within the US because it is more reliable and quicker. Also if anyone knows where I can find a redtop with a cut harness please let me know.

thank you-- yeah masterman if you could ask him about them it would be appreciated. It would just be nice to not have to worry about shipping taking forever and dealing with people in other countries.( I'm really anxious too)

Try not to be anxious...otherwise you might make some big mistakes. Unfortunately, I'm speaking from experience. :(

Just curious, what's the matter with Ricky's, besides the fact that he wants an arm and a leg for his motor's. I was at his shop and they looked decient (nothing special but nothing wrong with them).

I am pretty sure that all of those motors are spoken for this month, dont know about next month. I am not Daunt, but I would expect that he would have more on the way pretty quickly after these shipments are in.

Daunt, if you are reading this, you have mail.

Here's your reason not to buy from Ricky's Auto Center. :

Motor came with everything to do the swap BUT!:CAS was broken,Oil pan had a gaping hole in it. Oil stained CAMSWrecked bearings.Crankshaft had more than 1/4in of play.Motor was taken out of the car via the fuel rail.

I have seen a quite a few swaps I would strongly advise anyone to not purchase any motors from http://www.raceup.com

Please note the bearing faces in the pic. and these are the crank bearings! The ones that are not supposed to spin!

http://www.neishlinmotors.comNow that I bought the best clip they have, I am not afraid to share. They provide multiple pics of everything on the clip, sometimes including the gauge cluster. they even say stuff like "missing dash". Now that's a well supplied clip. Very good customer service. They are also converting my harness for me.

If you can wait a week, I will have 21 (minus mine of course) front clips here then. They are all running front clips (s13red and black and a couple s14s). Once I get them here, cleaned up, run and pressure tested, then I will post them and determine the price. I will be throwing in a free LSD with purchase. Anyone interested, please let me know.

Well, acutally I am a guy and this is a business:pface It is a long story, but in brief, I have been a racer (bikes, motorcycles, cars, etc.) for as long as I can remember. I have also been a huge Nissan guy. Put the two together and this is what you get - a guy who likes to race Nissans. I have spent a lot of time and money trying to find top quality engines for myself, but couldn't find a single good, affordable source...see where this is going...

Anyhow, I will be putting all the info on my site here shortly. I am waiting until I have done the tests (run and compression) on the engines before I will sell any of them. There is way to much junk floating around and I don't want to add anymore.

Also, I am not the guy who runs flash options. I am just a guy who will not grow up and still loves to road race. I'm in this for the fun, to support my hobbie, and support the Nissan crowd. Getting a clip should not be the gamble peolpe are making it, which is why I ended up spending so much time and money overseas setting this up.

More to follow... Any questions, please let me know.

Goixiz - you have mail.

I would agree that most anyone can purchase engines in the hopes to sell them. I would not agree that this is an easy task... Just ask around and see just how many people are getting burned. I have heard of several people sending over thousands of dollars just to find out they have been ripped off. As I found out on my visits, this is a tough market in Asia and there are some shady people just looking to take your cash and send you nothing. Just my personal observation.

I have mentioned this before, but have been silent on the boards lately as I am waiting for my container deal to be finalized. I am starting a JDM performance division for American Engine Installations. We are a legit business with 26 locations nationwide. I just happen to be a JDM nut that talked the boss into dropping large sums of $$$ on engine containers. I am located in Dallas and that is where the engines will be stored and shipped from. Until then, I can find you SRs that are already stateside, no problem.

My website is not yet up, but you can contact me at 1.888.959.7242. Ask for Paul cuz none of these rednecks around here will know what the hell you are talking about.

Oh, you can also e-mail me at [email protected]
