It's fine to call a "spade a spade", but the DJ's were not only inaccurate, they were potentially defamatory. Houston was clearly not a crack ho. She admitted using a better grade of cocaine than crack, and she did not resort to prostitution to fuel her drug addiction. Both DJ's would still be on the air if they had simply called her a fool for squandering her talent /health/wealth because of her drug use, instead of a crack ho.
She squandered a beautiful God-given gift to suck blow out of a glass ****. IMO, that does make her a ho. Just because she had the money to pay for her Coke instead of lying on her back for it doesn't change the end result. How many crack addicts have police found dead in hotel bathrooms this year? I'd be willing to bet she wasn't the first one, or the last.

I don't know why people put these freaks in such a high pedestal, reminds me of michael jackson , when he died they made it seem that he was a hero and a great person but the reality was that he was a sick freak and the same applies to whitney houston , she was a sick person and yes she made good music but that's all. At the end of the day she was a junkie and no one should idolize her because she will never be a role model. People should get a life and really appercite the ones that sacrifice their lifes for us, now that counts in my book. Don't get me wrong ,it's sad that she died but she was very selfish during her life and people should get a reallity check and celebrate what needs to be celebrated, that's all.

Here's another thing: How much GOOD could she have done with that cocaine money? As far as I'm concerned, she was funding terrorism, cartels, murder and mayhem. And all that money came from the same fans she selfishly thumbed her nose at in the end.

As such, good riddance.

I guess we have different definitions of "ho." Many folks define "ho" as a slut, prostitute, or hooker. I believe one could safely call Houston a druggie, an addict, a fool, a self indulgent idiot, but there's no evidence to suggest she was ever a "ho".

That is probably why those DJ's were suspended, I bet the station was worried about getting sued for slander/defamation.

Well put Greg

Also, I find it humorous how many people are complaining that the prices of her music have gone up after her death. Ummm if those same people were her biggest fans, wouldn't they have her music library already? :P

MJ liked to powder his nose too, though he used 10 lbs of makeup instead of cocaine.

I'll take 1 dead Brad Delp over 10 alive Whitney Houston/MJ hybrids any day of the week. Sucks that he killed himself :(
I was TOTALLY going to see them on their upcoming tour too.
The above song has one of my all time favorite guitar solos.
Best god damn basement recording you'll ever farkin hear.

+10000

Loudest concert I ever saw. Brad Delp's voice is simply astounding, and Scholz's guitar playing was 20 years ahead of its time.

Brilliant, beautiful, fun music. Anyone under 30 who hasn't listened to some classic Boston should definitely do so.

First time I heard Boston and really listened was probably late 80's/early 90s. I mentioned to my dad that the sound quality was really good. He blew my mind when he said it was recorded in the dude's basement.

"We should make a record"
"Yeah we should, I'll ring the studio in the morning"
"Nah bro, its cool, I got this"
"...what do you mean?"
"I've got some stuff I'll just set up in my basement... its cool"
"rrriiiiiigggghhhhtttt"

You just don't get mustaches like that anymore.

Last night Whitney Houston's ghost appeared to me and I think she gave me a prophetic message.

Can someone here might help me to decipher her words? She told me, "booohhh...booohhh..."

I'll take a shot. Perhaps her ghost was reacting to your singing "I will always love you" in the shower?

You might be right, but if this is about people who can't sing, then her ghost should star with Enrique Iglesias...
