I am trying to install the whiteline sub frame bushings. I am guessing a press is needed to do these. If you have done these and can help out with the process I would greatly appreciate the help.
ES bushings are so much easier but after you remove the cups you have no choice but the whiteline or megans.

Did you freeze the bushing in your freezer and heat up the subframe a bit with a torch? I haven't done them yet, but that's what I was planning on doing, ha ha. Also, did you cut out the sleeve already?

No I did not freeze them or heat the frame. I put the front 2 in but it was difficult. The rear are even tighter than the fronts. I got the rear in about 3/4 of the way and that's as far as I was able to get it.
I did remove the cups. I used a cold chisel and a 2Lb hammer, bent the side away to fold it in and remove it after removing what was left of the rubber.
Going to see a friend of mine, He has a home made tool that goes on a air chisel . He used it on camero sub frame bushings. I'll post back with that out come. Stealership does not work on cars 10 yrs old or older

Whiteline bushings are quite a bit over-sized for the S14 sub frame. I managed to get the fronts installed but not easily. The rear 2 were impossible to install as they were. I had to modify them by cutting 3 relief slots in them because of the outer diameter of the bushing compared to the inner diameter of the sub frame. After the reliefs were cut into the bushing cup I was able to drive them in with a home made tool and a BFH. I ruined one because it mushroomed about 3/4 of the way in (no relief cut ). Cut the reliefs in from top to bottom with a dremell tool and a cutting disk leaving a small portion between the cuts. They still install very tight
When I do my other S14 I will use the energy Suspension bushings instead.

I'm planning on using the SPL solid AL ones myself. Bummer the whiteline stuff didn't work out, they usually make good products

Spoke to Drew and Morgan at Diverse Suspension Tech, where I purchased them, and they helped me out with the price on another set. They also called whiteline but they would not answer and have not gotten a reply on my email.
Upside I will have another set sent priority by Drew and some help on the price. I will also have 3 spares if anyone else needs a few.
I now wonder how well the Megan bushings fit.
