White wheels

OK i know this is really just a matter of personal tastes but i want other opinions anyway cuz i'm insecure i guess. I want white wheels for my metallic black 95 240 but most of my friends think i'm bein stupid. What do you guys think? nice or rice? Once again I know its ultimately my decision so just give me an opinion and save the flames.

I have white 17" rims on my 240 and its black. I think it looks ugly, myself. I bought the car with them so I can't complain. I want to change them out for some grey'ish ones sooner or later.

I like it. I like bronza/gold best for a black car though...then comes silver, then white, and then black. I hate black on black. The vador look...bleh.

I personally love white rims, but not so much on a black car. I'll have to agree with Dori that gold rims on black car look the best.

I just got new metallic black paint job and veilside spoiler and now i need new wheels for my 95

Whats your guys opinion for the S14 Forest (dark) green? I was thinking gunmetal/bronze rims.

I think bronze would look sweet on forest green personally, better than gunmetal anyway

yes i think green with gold wheels looks so good, i want to paint my car green just for that reason.

Matt, go gold/bronze. My car is hunter green (s13 though) and when I buy wheels they will most definately be gold/bronze. When the car gets new paint, it will be british racing green. I can't wait!

I think white rims on most dark cars are fugly. Dark rims like gunmetal or black are nice on black. Gold, bronze and silver are good too. No white.

yeah i'm not sure about the black w/ white rims...i used to like white rims, but then again, i always had a white car....i have a 95 240sx pearl white (i need to get it repainted, eventually) now i like the look of gold/bronze, i especially like the gunmetal grey w/ a polished lip on a white car...well that's what i'll be getting...once you decide, posts some pics.....good luck

actually, i have nothing against white wheels. My next set may well be a set of white advans on my black s14. I've got a set of gold 17's on right now that look pretty good....black is nice too...argh too many beatiful wheels....

Niiiiice. those are one of the wheels i was considering.. the volk TE 37s. Think i wanna go bronze now though instead of white, the 5zigen 5zr is nice too, looks like the 5z copse.

Well, what do you guys think about wheel color on a bright red 240sx? Gold wheels look nice, but the car is basically stock and you gotta be able to back it up if you have gold wheels in my opinion... but im going to get a set of Rota wheels and i cannot decide if i should go with silver, gunmetal, or black. Any opinions?
