white smoke/ steem from center console

i noticed this alot today, about 30 miles down the freeway, i only had passed a few cars and i only rev to 5500 now, this is when i noticed white smoke or steam coming from what looked like my shifter/ center console/ radio dim area... i could only see it in the corner of my eye, not when i looked directly toward me glove box, where the stream would pass by... it would only appear for about 2 seconds at most, then stop, and then again a short time later... the total trip was about 70 miles, and this continued almost the whole way after that, my speeds when i noticed this was about 70+... the trans did not seem to be over heating, nor my engine, it all acted normal except this, sorry for a long post, i was just wondering if anyone knew what this was.. any help is appreciated... thanks

Is any of the white smoke/ steam coming out of the vents. If so then you might want to check your heater core to see if is leaking. I had a Bronco II that had a heater core leak so I just pluged of the hoses that when to the heater core and rerouted on back to the radiator.
