ya so my car smokes after about 2 min of running. i know thats usually shows that the head gasket is blown. this new guy who just started at the shop i work at said that there is some sensor gauge thing you can screw on istead of your rad cap that tells you if you are getting exhaust fumes in you coolant...or something of that nature:)you guys ever heard of this. oh and wheres a good place to get a headgasket for cheap...

Getting pretty cold out you know.............

Guess what color steam is??

Smell the smoke, if it smells sweet........bad headgasket if not, it's cold out and your exhaust gas is hot. lol.

If you really want to know you can start the car with the rad cap off and watch for bubbles (a sign of air entering radiator and colant entering your engine)

Also pull out your dipstick, if the oil level seems to rise after an oil change and is kind of milky looking, you've got coolant in you're oil = bad headgasket.

but agian, it's cold out now and you shouldn't make brash assumptions.

On a side note, if it's not your headgasket, you should come down to Chatt town to the meet/drive this Saturday. Check the sig VVVVVVV

Ditto on the steam...

Condensation in the gas tank could be your culprit.
