I got a 93 240 with a ka in it. Every so often white smoke comes out my exhuast. Like a clould of smoke. This only happens when i am at a complete stop. What could this be? I hope it aint the head gasket.

Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

White smoke is burning coolant. I would imagine you are burning it all the time but you just can't see it while driving around. I would check the compression on all your cylinders

Mine did that when my head gasket went... I wouldn't expect it to be anything too good...

Are you certain you're buring coolant, you could have excessive blowby in the crank case. (like me :D)

Once she warms up shes fine, just can't hop in and go unless you like a smokescreen.
