Hi! I am a proud owner of a nissan 200sx(s13 with ca18det-i live in europe)I bought the car 3 months ago an it has some small modifications. Anyway about an hour ago, starting 1st with full throttle changing to 2nd, i heard a noise and no boost:S I stopped the car aside, checked it and brought it home.I don't know exactly what happened but here some info to help me:1) I get no boost--(vacuum to 0 boost-runs like NA)2) the wastegate doesn't seems to work- the actuator may be stacked /or getting no boost to close/open the wastegate)3)I am getting white smoke(don't know if its oil or coolant) from the exhaust4)The turbo it isn't the stock one, but its a nissan made borrowed from an rb engine(don't know which one) and is bolted to a T25/t28 manifold. Also I don't know if it is t25 or t28, because there aren't any markings, but i can see that the intake housing is bigger than the exhaust housing of the turbo. Also the boost line that is connected to the wastegate actuator is connected direct to the intake housing of the turbo 5) My timing belt is the stock one and hasn't changed yet(is there a chance that the belt "slipped"6)I haven't check any of fluid levels yet, because is late night here, but i haven't seen any warning lamp or high temp when i was coming back to my house7)the engine seems to run smoothly.

Please help me!:S

BUMP... I have taken a look today. Engine oil, and coolant levels are OK. I removed the intake pipe and tried to turn the turbo shaft by hand and it spins hardly. Also when the engine is started the turbo shaft doesn't spin. I will check also the timing if does plays any role(because of old timing belts) and post back. Also about the smoke it doesn't produces so much and i can't yet identify what it is.

Any help is welcomed

ps: I checked the wastegate actuator, and now when i run on full throttle i get 0.00 boost. Also i am thinking about blown head gasket...

if the turbo doesn't spin why check all that other stuff? Like breaker77 said, sound like the turbo is messed up. Where the oil feed coming from on it?

oil feed is from engine, through 2 stainless steel braided lines. I have check several things know and i am sure that the turbo is broken. Tomorrow i will remove the turbo from the car and check it. Hope that the shaft is ok, and with a rebuild kit i will fix it.

Also about the cause of the death, may be by a missfault of the bov, or buildup in oil feed lines/center turbo housing.btw is there a chance of the shaft been broken?
