any oil on your spark plugs isnt right. you probably allready know that. maybe its a valve cover gasker the o rings that go arround the spark plug shafts. i could be wrong but its a cheap fix if thats what it is. hope this helps

From the sounds of it this smoke is not really think white like clouds in the lower atmosphere but more a transparet white cloud like the ones in the extreme upper atmosphere. If so I would venture to geuss you are loading up on fuel during prolonged idle. Couple things I can think of are inaccurate Coolant temp sensor, or inaccurate Air flow meter readings.

I also recommend you change the bosh plugs out for some NGK plugs. Nissans tend to not agree with alot of spark plugs and bosch is up on the list for worst incompatible plug.

I'll try the valve cover gasket and the o rings along with NGK spark plugs sometime this week. Could the inaccurate coolant temp sensor and inaccurate AFM readings be from the extra ground wires? Where is the coolant temperature located?

Anyways, I tried running the car without going on boost and it still gave off white smoke when I was waiting at the stop light. But then again, it was gone when I got home.

It could be either or on the MAF and CTS, Additional ground wires help the situation with the maf as that is usually whats wrong with it [lack of good ground] on the coolant temp it is located on the intake manifold near the radiator inlet. Usually a red 2 wire connector.

someone also told me that it might be my PCV valve; it might be letting oil into the intake manifold. So, I followed the service manual on how to check the PCV valve, but the engine always dies everytime I pullout the PCV valve. It states there to take it out while the engine is running 'coz I should hear a hissing sound and a strong vacuum should be felt when finger is placed over the valve inlet. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the test 'coz the engine stalls once I remove the PCV valve. Am I doing it wrong?

NGK recommends PFR6A-11 (double platinum) or BCPR6EIX-11 (Iridium IX)

Diggin this up for a sec--

Im trying to eliminate some possibilities of the same problem. After sitting at idle, i will smoke a whitish smoke from the downpipe. Someone mentioned valve seals in another thread, to which i feel the strongest about. Another person mentioned bad injectors/injector. My plugs dont have any oil residue on them that I know of. I have checked twice within the last week. SO im thinking if the injector is bad, then raw unburnt fuel can be white too. So heres my question. What does it smell like? My car smells like burning oil to me, but then again i cant remember a time specifically that i can remember smelling raw unburnt fuel. IM probably gonna have my injectors checked at rc to be sure. anyone have any input?

pull off your gas cap, get your nose down there and take a big wif, thats what raw unburnt fuel smells like. The scent from the exhust wouldnt be as strong but it would smell like that. are your plugs black around the electrode?

Someone once told me it was the turbo.

Sometimes it doesnt even happen at all, but then again im running stock boost.
