Took the car to Roshan at Powerhaus in Cherry Hill NJ.

This was me the whole time




The car made 361whp and 344 wtq on a Mustang Dyno. The tuner Roshan said his Mustang Dyno was around 10% or so lower then local Dynojet's. This wold put me around 397whp and 378wtq. I'm very happy with the results, similar setups I've seen online were making around 380-400whp and 360-380wtq on Dynojets.

I do have a video of the final pull and will post it once I figure out how to not have youtube make my video 240p resolution. I'm also hoping to get some driving videos up once I have free time to take them.

Thanks SoundEfx. There are some short term plans I need to take care of. Today I'm hoping to get a alignment, do the rear oem amp delete so my speakers will work properly, and find a way to hide the monster of a ls1 ecu.

I also ordered front and rear strut bars and my buddy and I are both going to do cold air intake setups. The intake air temps now are about 110-120F and it's in the low 60's where I'm at. There is a thread somewhere where the owner of a ls 240 went from about 60F above ambient air temps to around 10F above ambient just by moving his filter behind the bumper.

There is a track day at the NJMP that I might be going to with my buddies. I need to free up some cash though lol. My RB25 S13 is also up for sale so that should help me put a dent in my debt.

Haha you're not kidding, my buddy had one that he ended up putting 250K on. It was always beat, but never broken. I'm really looking for something a little bigger like a late 90's Jeep Cherokee.

Thank you. It wasn't actually all that bad. The Sikky Kit and Wiring Specialties harness made it feel like a simple factory motor swap. Working on the LS1 was a little bit of a learning curve since I had no experience with those motors. It wasn't that bad at all though, it was refreshingly easy compared to other motors I've worked on.

Thank you. Other then being my nice weather DD I plan on taking it to the local road course. An open track day is coming up next weekend that I might attend. At the moment I'm still shaking the car down and making sure everything is good. No plans to drift it really, just the usual fun in empty parking lots . I'll also take it to the strip once or twice when the weather gets nice.

I'm still trying to find time to take some videos. Saturday I'm changing the serpentine belt, oil, and output shaft seal. If I have time I'll take a quick video .

I was able to replace my speakers over the weekend and install my strut tower bars.



The factory speakers were bad, half the speaker was disintegrated.

A little late night November snow in NJ


Changed my serpentine belt in the space available at our garage/shop (Race HQ ) My buddy Phil was working on his '05 STI that he H6 swapped then boosted .


We are also working on a 350z ls2 swap. If anyone is local to South Jersey and wants some work done to their car for a very fair price P.M. me. Side Street Motorsports is open for business

The time will come, I've had a couple nice days here and there to rip around in her. My problem is that literally nothing is going on around me. Me and my buddies work at the shop and then are too busy with other BS to find time to get into trouble. It doesn't help that the weather is crappy and two of my friends cars are broke lol.

I did pick up this little beauty however. Ready for some mad tight jdm snow drift awd action . First auto car I've owned too lol.

Can't argue with that. When I lived at home I had a rock driveway for most my life till my parents decided to asphalt it. Even that's better then what some people have. Here's a few pics of what we rented before, a rundown barn that we rented from a nice older lady. Floors are dirt with random carpets on top . We built my buddies vr4 in the dead of winter and built our 24 hours of lemons car (99 Legacy) there among other stuff.




Now for some 240 news. Had a chance to take care of a couple things the past few weeks.

I had a problem with my tach where it would jump from 2500rpm to 3000rpm then wait for the motor to actually get to 3000rpm then continue reading right from there. Also between ~5800 to 6500 it would start jumping around a little. I inspected the tach and re-soldered the connections on the board, but no luck. I decided to just buy a jdm cluster and swap tach's. New tach works perfect .

I also decided to order an appropriate sized air filter to replace the very tiny one I originally purchased.

Had to cut about 1.5"s off the aluminum intake tube to get it to fit.

Thank you Papa. Yea nice call on the jeep. I figured I'd stick with what I know, and I've had my fair share of Subarus. Plus this Outback was a steal . I've been looking into getting a used GoPro if I can find one local for cheap,then I'll be uploading cooler videos of the 240 once the weather gets a little nicer. My buddy with the track-car Miata told me that the next open track day was in march so I'm hoping to get her to the track for the first time when that rolls around.
