Alright guys, I finally got time to do some projects on the M. What I can't stand is the wood grain panels, thought I'd grow into it but damnnnn!

Anyways I was wondering what color the panel pieces came stock in a White M Sport with Wheat interior of anybody has it? I have no clue on what color to wrap those wood grain panel as I have a white M with wheat interior.

I'll accept suggestions and ideas as mine have got nowhere!

Do a brushed aluminum vinyl overlay. You can find good deals on amazon on that stuff. Thats what I plan to do. I have a black interior, but I have seen brushed aluminum on your color interior as well and it looked great.

Mex - after some googling, I'm starting to think that you are right... F this wood grain sh*t lol
I'm getting my roof wrapped tomorrow in metallic black, possibly side mirror as well, if any left over I may do the wood trim too

I have moonlight white tri-coat with wheat interior. I just got a large amount of black suede (72 in X 48 in) with backing and I am thinking about covering the upper dash and upper door panels. I am looking at covering any area that is currently covered in that grey soft touch material. I don't fancy the way the grey dash reflects onto the inside windscreen. As for the wood trim, mehh.
It doesn't bother me but if I like the black suede dash, I may cover the wood in 5D carbon fibre in charcoal, black, or maybe silver.

Hello, Mr Wang!

Yes, I am doing very well, thank you. Many months of Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, massage therapy, and personal training got me to 75% of left shoulder and 60% of cervical spine and that is all I will get back, but I am pain free and back to everything I used to do, so I'm quite pleased. Decided not to have the rotator cuff repaired as it's only a slight tear and will likely not get any worse assuming no new injuries. Hope all is well at your place!
I will post pics of the suede soon as I work out how to go about it.

For me, if going brown, then a wood grain is needed. I don't fancy CF in any shade of brown. The best brown wood grain I've seen is the newer M's (not the ash covered version). I love the way it is dark on the edges and gradually lighter towards the center of each panel. Also they make "5D" CF wrap now and it's the most realistic of the fake carbon fiber vinyl wraps.
