I got a bunch of mods done today at this place called One Eighty in Brooklyn. These guys have been around since 2006 and mainly do G37's and G35's with the occasional M37's ,BMW's and Audis. My M37x is their first project with white light housings. They painted my housings white, the grill gloss black, and added halo rings to the lights. I could have done the single LED's spaced out about 3/4 of an inch apart instead of the Halo rings but thought it looked better on a G37. Here are some pics. Let me know what you guys think. Next week they are smoking out rear lenses a light tint

Looks beautiful. I was thinking of doing this a few months back but I'm just afraid of breaking the seal of the lights and condensation building up over time. The only thing I dont like is the black outline...is that factory? How about pics at night?

The painted housings cost $400 because of the white. Otherwise they would charge $300 for any other color. Ive seen the housings black and the shrouds over the lights another color. Halo rings were $300 and the Fog lights were $85.

@Tdot....these guys have been doing this since 2006 and from what Ive read and heard about the work they do none have had any problems. Regarding the black outline...thats the rubber seal and can be seen a lot more when the housings are white. Here is a link to their other work with different colors housings and shrouds and different LED lights they installed in the headlights.

They changed their named? It used to be 180* Customs or something like that. But yes, they are legit modders when it comes to lights. I used to go to NYCMaximas.org when Igor (who is the founder of 180*) was on there. He's mostly on G35NYC now from what I can tell.

Definitely recommend them.

As for your lights, I'm not feeling the white. I would have made them black to match the grill. But that's just me.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did they have your car/lights?

looks good, maybe getting the chrome grill would help it look a little better along with some wheels.

:werd: a chrome or white grille might complete the look. It was my first thought... then again in person the black might look better. Anyone want to Photoshop a visualization?

Nice to see people having fun with their new M's!

They are 180 customs. I just wrote one eighty. They had my lights for one day because they had the housing already so they painted them and them took my chrome ones and kept them like they did from the last guy that got his done. Took a total of 6 hours because they had to wait for the grill to come back. I saw a white grill on a G37 coupe along with white light housings and I wasnt really felling it because my lower facia has black mesh in it so I decided to keep the grill white as well

Thanks. From what I understand they do exchanges as well. You send them your parts and and they send you theirs right away. Or you can wait 48 hours with your parts before they are sent back to you.
Here is a link to their info if anyone is interested and a link to their facebook page. Next project is them doing my rear lenses.

Did you get a discount? I called them and they told me $600 for two lights (high beam and projector), and $800 for all three. No fogs, No painting. If you didn't get a discount, I'm already losing interest in dealing with them if they arbitrarily play with prices like this. That is a drastic difference.

Maybe they misunderstood you because they have a full price list for everything. Light housings cost $300 to $400 depending on the paint. $500 for the halo lights (total 4) but $300 if you are painting your housings because they already opened up your lights and just adding the the halos. To paint the grill, halos and paint my housings everything cost $820 and the fog lights I did at another place because the guy owed me money. I attached a link for their pricing. Just remember if they open up your light housing for one thing that includes labor. For everything else once its opened they arent charging labor. Thats why I did the halo orb lights. Call them up and tell them you are from the Nico club M37 forums and that you saw this post that Aaron posted for his white M37. And see if they will work with you on pricing. But they were really fare with me. Igor took care me. He is Artems partner.

Couldnt be any misunderstanding. I was explicit when I told them I didnt want any painting. They said the $300 is for the G because the G lights are easier to work with. I'll call them tomorrow with what you said. Anybody in particular I should speak to?
I dont really understand how you broke down the pricing though. $300-$400 for paint alone...$500 for 4 halo lights...$300 for painting AND 4 halo lights?

Ask for Alex. He is the one that took care of me. Ok here is the breakdown. Because i have that weird white color its the most expensive color to paint the housings. So the price is $360 for my white housings plus $40 for my parking light strings on the side which equals $400. If you want Matte or gloss black the cost is $260 plus $40 for the parking light strips which equals $300. For OEM paint the cost is $300 plus $40 for the strips which equals $340. Those Orb halo rings for cost $150 per side if you just do the Orb halo lights. So total is $300 plus $200 for labor. However if they are painting your housings then they arent charging you for the labor to install your orb halo lights because your housings are already apart to paint. So since I wasnt charged for the labor the lights were just $300 or broken down $150 for the left side of the car and $150 for the right side of the car. So $400 for painting my housing + $300 for the lights + $120 for the grill totaled $820
Take a look at this link again. It give you a price break down. And also scroll down until you see 3 pics of a G37 coupe. They installed Iron Man LED lights on that car instead of Orb halo lights. They look killer

OK, I'll give them a call today again. How are your lights set up to work now? What turns on/off/together? Do you have a choice in it?

I notice they only have one year warrenty for condensation. Is that reasonable? I would think two to three years would be a little more reasonable. I'm only a little concerned because my assembly is brand new.

I havent read on any of the forums that there was a problem with condensation. I did google searches on it and have not found anything either. Regarding how my lights work. The very top picture the lights are in auto. And that lights the Halos and projectors. In the other pictures I have to turn the switch on for parking lights. And I drive that way during the day

Hey I spoke with you on the phone, we do not "play" with prices. Your M is 2008, completely different headlights from the 2012. The older generation headlights are harder to open and work inside on. Also, the LED rings mount differently. Every car/model has different pricing, so please do not get offended but the higher prices we quoted you.

don't feel bad because many people feel just like you but won't dare to post what they think. most people do lose interest because of high prices.

I'm sure they do a great job but you must be willing to pay what they ask, if your not then you'll have to look for another shop or someone here thats willing to do the job for you.

good luck with your lights
