White exhaust fumes

What is the problem with my car when I see this kind of smoke being crapped outta the tailpipe?

white smoke usually indicates coolant has entered the cylinders. That looks like the car was turned off when you took that picture. Does it smoke white when you have it on? It could be an indicator that your headgasket is beginning to leak.

Also, have you done any exhaust work recently? Could be something liquid that got in there (fluids or anti-seize, etc)

On a side note, I believe some synthetic oils burn white as well instead of blue.

white smoke is usually a byproduct of combustion= water vapor

if coolant is leaking to your exhaust system, you can smell the sweetness in the air <of course, it's bad for u too!>

y some exhaust systems rusts from the inside out= says captain obvious

it looks kinda bluish to me..

mine does that on start up and revving. i think my piston rings are bad

Run some lucas oil stabalizer through there, that might fix it. Fixed my smoking problem for about 2 months now.

turns out it is pure gas vapors that is being spewed out, ne one know how to fix? or at least adjust gas/air mixture?

check/clean mafs, egr. check/replace O2. thats the extent of my knowledge if its running rich

i actually sorta know this.

exhaust gas recirculation.

its a solenoid/vacuum controlled diphram that allows some exhaust gas back into the intake manifold depending on the engines operating conditions. lowers emissions by lowering the combustion chamber temperatures that form NOx.

essentially if it gets clogged up with deposits it can cause fuel air mixture issues. also lowers performance somewhat. guys in states with no emissions take em out but you have to reprogram the ecu. im usually fairly environmentaly conscious but after the hell of this project i want birds dropping out of trees when i drive past.
