white smoke usually indicates coolant has entered the cylinders. That looks like the car was turned off when you took that picture. Does it smoke white when you have it on? It could be an indicator that your headgasket is beginning to leak.
Also, have you done any exhaust work recently? Could be something liquid that got in there (fluids or anti-seize, etc)
On a side note, I believe some synthetic oils burn white as well instead of blue.
