I am very interested in a 240sx although i dont know what to get I have my eye on a 1991 BUT i like the 95's because of the headlights which model is a better tuner

94+ model is heavier than earlier models.Minimal though.Same engine same power.Go with the one you that like to be in best.

95+ are heavier, but they have better weight balance than s13s

It's a wash. Go with the one you like better. A fully equipped S13 (89-94) fastback will probably weigh just as much, if not a little more, than a base model S14 (95-98). Don't worry about the minor descrepancies in weight and weight balance, neither will really affect the ride quality of the car. Both are hot cars... but depending on your point of view, one looks like a Toyota Camry and the other looks like a Ford Probe.

Are you sure you don't mean you like the 97-98 model due to their headlights? Personally, I'm not much of a fan of the zenki (95-96) headlights. I much prefer the kouki (97-98). But as far as perofrmance goes, it really doesn't matter which one you start off with because both the s13 and s14 have a ton of aftermarket support. Just go with the one you like more so that you won't regret your decision in the future.
