whistling noise only with heat on

I drive an 04 I35 and I hear a Whistling/high pitched squeak only when the Heat/AC is on. It goes away as soon as its off though. Also it gets louder as I accelerate. I'm thinking it could be the serpentine belt, but I've read it could be a pulley or alternator as well. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

Does the pitch of the noise change with the speed of the blower motor?

Yes. It seems to get higher as I increase blower motor speed

My guess would be the blower motor.
