whistle noice coming from my back seat???

i hear whistle noice coming from my back seat when my 03 M45 is on.
is this normal or could it be the fuel pump going bad?

I would certainly suspect the fuel pump... does the noise get better when the tank is full?

no its at all times, sounds like a damn dog whistle, not loud but anoying specially if you're sitting in the back seat. lol

If you haven't done so, I would look in your factory service manual (FSM), available at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ to see how to gain access to the pump. Then you can take the seat out and better isolate the noise.
