Whirring sound

Need help ..!! with my 07 M35.
Started few weeks ago, when I turned on the engine I heard a whirring sound at the front left of the car. It comes and goes, and it seems like coming from the headlight area.
I have no idea what is it?

That is your headlight trying to adjust itself but cant, I have the same issue with my drivers side hdlight. I dont know if theres a fix for that

Yes I do, I think there were/are a few members with same issue. I dont think anybody attempted to fix this yet. Most went to dealer and replaced entire assembly under warranty, if you are out of b2b warranty then ouch, start looking for used headlight ir live with it. Mine makes noise from time to time but still works perfectly fine. I am swapping them out for sport anyways so before I do that I will take a look if theres a way to fix this. Which of your hdlght makes noise ?

As far as I know is the left side.
