Whining

Is it normal for the timing chain to whine while i am driving it is almost like a supercharger noise? thanks for any help

my car has the same whine, i think its coming from the transmission. I know the syncros are bad.

Doubt the whining is the timing chain. I would say a whining in that direction is a loose or improperly tensioned belt.

I assume it's coming from the front of the engine...possibly a problem with the mechanical fan clutch? just a thought.

umm a stage three clutch will cause that noise. I had the act 4 puck in mine and i noticed the noise after driving awhile. Racing clutches usually make that type of chatter or whine.
