I got my beater car back from my cousin who was borrowing it for 6 months. Right before I gave them the car my trusted mechanic did both front & rear rotors and pads. I got the car back and it makes a whining noise and vibration that gets more intense as the car moves faster. If I move the wheel to the right it goes away, but straight ahead and to the left you feel it and hear it.

Is this bearings or did my mechanic screw up the front rotors???? Help??

if the sound is coming from front it could be the right hand hub bearing or the right hand axel carrier bearing if from rear could be the rear rh hub bearing. doubt brakes are source of noise

Thanks, it is coming from the right front for sure, I just drove the car 400 miles ot get it home. The noise and vibration goes away when you steer to the right, comes back when the car is straight or turning left. Does that help?

check your r/f hub bearing and your r/h axel carrier bearing. if your have a engine stethescope its pretty easy to check if not a long thin screw driver works pretty good. get the front tires off the ground and stabilize the vehile on some jack stands or a hoist if possible put the car in drive if auto or 2nd gear if manual and run it up to about 25 mph and place your listening device against the hub mount and then against the carrier braket and compare the 2 noises the louder one is the most likely culprit
