Okay, so I've finally got possession of my Q! So I got straight to business and ripped off the plenum and pulled out all the injectors, I know I'm suppose to replace the EGR gasket, TB gasket, and that other one on the back... I forget what it is. Should I replace the VC gaskets? They seem okay but they're probably rock hard and cracked in a million places. Also the rubber rings around the plenum, one of those is a little torn up. I took pictures but I guess I can't upload them? Maybe there has a been an update that photo upload sticky last post was from 2012 lol.

As far as the injectors go, I'm planning out having them refurbished by Deatsch Werks, is there any reason for me to buy new ones from them?

What website should I be buying all of these gaskets from, I want OEM of course.

If it was me, I'd seriously consider replacing the valve cover gaskets, and the spark plugs.

Since you've already pulled the plenum and injectors, you're already deep in the poo. Why not fix everything that needs fixing while you're in there, and be done with it?

Infiniti Parts USA seems to enjoy a good reputation for customer service and prices.

So those are the only sites you guys use huh? For that Scottsdale dealership, are they cheaper than other dealerships or what? Infiniti parts USA didn't seem to have a very big selection of parts.

rock auto is a good one for parts

used parts: Felton's

personally I pulled injectors and the rail off a low mile 95 and had Deatschwerks clean and re-install it all. They also replace the pintle caps and screens on the injectors in addition to flow test them = well worth the $

unless your injectors have a ton of miles, they should be good to send in to DW

I recently refurbished a set of injectors on my 99 Maxima SE 5 speed that look like the Phase II Q injectors on your 94 model. I bought a set of screens, o-rings, and pintle caps from an eBay seller for $34 and did it myself. Since two injectors had broken pintle caps that were causing flooding issues, I could see a big improvement. So far the car is running great with my DIY refurbished injectors. The BWD Black Dot injectors on my Q were new in 2010 so it will be years before I need to touch them. However, on any of my other high mileage Nissans, I will refurbish the injectors the next time I have the plenum off for maintenance. Injector refurbishing is an easy low cost maintenance item -- once you have the plenum off.

I completed in January a similar service on my 94 Q.
I suggest:
1. Don't rebuild injectors, they fail due to ethanol degrading the coil. That doesn't get rebuilt. I went with SMP (BDM) injectors that were about $50 NEW from Rock Auto.
2. Replace all the gaskets including valve cover. Mine was hard, brittle and leaking. - bought OEM from Scottsdale
3. Replace knock sensors, good price for oem in OEM packaging on Ebay.
4. Knock sensor wiring harness - bought OEM from Scottsdale

that done and a Nico ECU, I am very happy.

More than one NICO member has gotten burned on "OEM" knock sensors purchased on ebay.

Counterfeits are common.

Even if you get a genuine Nissan part, you don't know its history - i.e., how old it is, how it was stored, how many times it's been shipped, how much rough handling it's had, etc.

Knock sensors are kind of like fine china - Expensive, and delicate.
