After gettin off of my route (USPS), I had to rush to my 2nd job at dominos and get there in an impossible time, after only sleeping 4 hours last night, I think I got the best tip I'll ever get. I just happened to glance up and see the cleanest s13 I've ever seen in person, and it had a for sale sign on it. I have an s14 already, but the curiousity got the better of me so I had to check it out some more, and glanced at the price tag. I first read it as $3000 and was about to finish deliverin my pizza when I glanced closer (its nighttime) and saw it was actually $300.

I called the chick who owned it, explained to her that it was worth way more than that, but if she would hold it for me until the friday after next, I would give her 400 for it, but my phone lost service so I had to wait a bit before I could back. When I called back, she said she had already taken the sign down, and we talked a bit more about it and she explained she needed the cash bad because she can't drive a 5 speed and that it was mine. Said it had been her fathers and he had taken really good care of it (if the engine is half as clean as the body, I'll probally have an orgasm). I don't know the mileage, but I don't really care, I was happy the rest of the night, even though my next deliver was a 40 mile round trip and I got exact change. Been in a good mood ever since.

I can't wait to go test drive it tomorrow after doin my route. Going to be my backup car when I'm doin work to my s14, as well as my little brother's car. He deserves it though and I scare the **** out of him so he'll listen to my rules when he drives it Its a 91, white, and even the original seats are in perfect condition.

Was one heck of a night. Can't believe in less than two weeks I'll have two 240s and gotten such heck of deals on them. Gotta love a place where no one knows about them Will post pictures of them side by side next Friday.

Exactly.

That's the kind of thing that makes all that running around and working hard pay off ... if you keep your eyes open.

It was actually in Bluffton (right across the bridge, where I deliver pizza), and is a hatch. I may sell the s13 somewhere down the line, but its goin to get a bit of use first. Hilton Head is an alright place, but there is absolutely no safe place to drift, way too many cops around. I got my s14 back in March for 2 grand from my father's friend by the way, it had 99,000 miles on it (120 now), but its had a bit of abuse, few small dents but nothing that can't be taken care of. Didn't like the fact that when I opened it, there was no air filter, but even if the engine was to die tonight, I've gotten my use out of it (its still going strong, but my timing chain tensioners need replaced and I just don't have the time until the following Sunday to do it). I plan on ordering a KA to build in whatever spare time I can find and turboing it. Will be a fun project, and a big part of it is for myself to learn as much as I can, though I do have a knowledgible friend who is going to be helping me.

About to head out and check the s13, give it a bit of a test drive before goin to Dominos. Bit late, but I was dead tired this morning and misunderstood what was told to me about the mail route I was doing and went in 3 hours late, oops. Will post more about what I think of the s13 tonight.
