Whidbey Island Car Show Aug 13th

The North Whidbey Lions Club will be hosting their 20th Annual Car Show at Oak Harbor City Beach on Saturday August 13th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Entry to the grounds remains free and is still one of the best deals of the summer season. There will be over 200 cars, trucks, and motorcycles entered to compete in 23 categories so there is something for everybody to see and almost 70 trophies to be awarded. Entries pay a registration fee (Pre $15.00 and $18.00 day of show) and come from as far away as California and British Columbia, Canada. There will also be music, entertainment, and food vendors to guarantee a classic car show atmosphere.

This is a cool car show, I went to it last year and there were TONS of classics but there was maybe 5 imports. I would really like to get a good group together to represent the Nissan community and show some of the muscle car people there that imports can be nice cars and people too.

I'm asking my fellow Suby owners to show up as well, already got 5 saying they'll go. It'd be great to get some Nissans there as well.

What I had planed was to meet up in Burlington at the Cascade mall and train down to Oak Harbor and group up again at a TBD location. From there we'll all go to the show as one massive Nissan/Subaru group.
