Thats what I did, its stronger and maintainable.Darius wrote:I didn't use my Z32 yolk on my newest drive shaft. They put a new yolk on that matched my Z32. It is a standard size so if you know what to ask for, then you can probably save money and get one with a rebuildable joint.
problem is i dont know what to ask for. im only having this built locally to save money. i called the local driveline place that everyone around here has recommended and they dont even carry japanese yokes. they said i would have to find the yoke myself and then bring it in. they only carry american stuffDarius wrote:I didn't use my Z32 yolk on my newest drive shaft. i have found that much. i have located a shop about an hour from my shop that is somewhat more willing to talk to me and work with me than the guys i have been talking to locally. they give me the "*grunt* notamerican *grunt*". maybe they arent to friendly in the morning? anways the guy tells me that he will need the dimensions of the yoke so he can find me a proper replacement. problem is ive been searching for almost an hour and i cant find the exact dimensions to give him. all i found so far is that its a 30 spline yoke. am i just searching for the wrong thing on google or something? talking to these guys locally has frustrated me. its almost not worth the money savings and to just get one from mckinney but i guess i can keep trying.Coolwhip wrote:30 spline yoke
