Why do I have to hook up an outside power source when I already have 12v+ on pin2 from the ca wires?

What is the signal wire on the ca side, green with yellow stripe? Just make sure I'm viewing at the right side.

Sorry for not replying, I've been a bit busy, I have to do a bit of tidying up of the engine bay because I've sold the car, I'll check the wiring tommorow.

It has financially crippled me, I can't afford the running costs anymore, also I want to get my own place so it has to go.

I think I did well getting £4800 (about $7,853) for a 10 year old Datsun. :D

Hey paul, I was wondering what you came up with on the z32 wiring. The more detail the better. Like witch way you looked at the plug.

Thanks, kirt
