Gotta vote for the Z32. It's still a relevant design, even by today's standards. Still decently powerful. Handles like a dream. The community is just stellar. Everything about the car is amazing.

240Z comes in a very close second, however.

Makes me want to go see if the ZG nose is still where I saw it a couple of years ago.

They have Panasports here, but I have never in close to 17 years of residence seen a Z rolling a set; it's always RS8s. It's faintly possible they are, if the resolution was a hair sharper I could tell for sure, but I would not bet on them being PSs.

I would have to pick the 280, cause that is the time era when I started driving. My aunt had a 240 or 260, I do not remember which. I fell in love with Nissan and the Z when we traveled back across country to visit her back in the late 90s.

I have always been a truck guy, but vow to add a Z to my collection one day.

I honestly can't choose between S30 and Z32. I love them both. Cannot pick one over the other. They are both my favorite.

But, for the sake of your essay, I'll vote Z32. It's Pininfarina-beautiful in addition to its performance specs.

370z is my runner-up. Despite those lights it's a great-looking car (even in droptop form, a first for a Z) and a lot of performance for the buck.

I drive a Z33 and I voted for the 240Z without hesitation, it's timeless. It would be my first choice to resto-mod if I had the time, space and money.

As much as I like the Z32 I can't vote for it because of how far it strayed so far away from where the Z started - a fun, no frill, affordable sports car. The Z31 started the overpriced bloat of the Z's run, but the Z32 cemented it - and eventually made Nissan cancel the line altogether.

Silverstone or Carbon Silver Z33 6-Speed Coupe, Veilside V1 Front Chin, OEM Rear Lip, 2006-08 18/19 Track/Nismo/Rays Wheels. No Splash Guards. Prefer VQ35HR.

Mainly based on modern tech and creature comforts (I know it's a sports car) as well as looks. I've driven a Z31 auto, Z32 Slicktop and Z32TT (both manual), Z33 Coupe 6-Speed and a Z33 Roadster auto (cousin's).

A friend of my sister had a 260 or 280 that I rode in but didn't drive. May have driven a 280ZX but really don't recall. Have yet to drive or ride in a 370.

The 300ZXTT drive was fun. Thanks Dan!

In droptop form, I do prefer the 370 to the 350 though. But since I'd rather have a coupe, It's the Three Fiddy Z!

That sucks. I was kind of hoping to have true results on this. But, it's OK.

fix it up and flip it? the body damage alone would negate the whole effort of fixing it up.
