to disable the automatic climate control display dimmer? i've been looking at the wiring diagrams but couldn't find what color it was and besides electrical is one of my weak points.

In the movies it's always the red wire and you should wait to cut it until there is only 1 second left on the countdown timer. Hope this helps.

all i found in the fsm is a wire for the illumination switch power but i think it might not be the dimmer.

i hope the dimmer and illumination isn't through the same wire...but i'll be gone till friday so maybe someone can give me an answer by then?

speed limiter is the pink one going into the ecu. thats all you need to know.
